Rule 44
Work, Duties and Powers of the Committee
: It shall be the duty of the Committee to advise the Government of Nepal on the following matters:
(a) Selection of contractor for undertaking petroleum work.
(b) To amend the Petroleum Agreement.
(c) ………….
(d) Government of Nepal will become a shareholder in petroleum works.
(e) Supply of domestic demand of petroleum.
(f) Imposing a temporary ban on the export of petroleum in accordance with section 12 of the Act.
(is) ………….
(h) transfer rights and obligations of the contractor.
(i) Joint Venture Arrangement.
(j) Relating to arbitration.
(k) Cancellation of petroleum contracts.
(l) Any other subject prescribed by the Government of Nepal.
